Pay: $100,000 to $115,000 annually.

Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Location: Oak Lawn, IL.

Home Health Assistant Clinical Nurse Director

We are seeking a qualified Home Health Assistant Clinical Nurse Director that is extremely familiar with Medicare rules, polices and regulations within the Home Healthcare setting. You must have 5 years of home health experience and be able to look at oasis and see what is there, what's not, and what is needed. You will work out of our corporate office in Oak Lawn, IL.

We average 70-75 admission per month, and we have a busy office. Candidate will over all field Nursing staff. You must be able to answer questions from the field Nurses as needed and fill in for the Nurse Director as needed. You also must be strong in Q&A.

Duties:
- Assist in overseeing and coordinate the daily operations of the nursing department
- Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and training
- Collaborate with Nurse Director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of {location}
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

- Must know Medicare and Oasis
- Strong knowledge of DRG coding, case management, and venipuncture procedures
- Experience with neonatal ventilators, sterile processing, spinal taps, and diagnostic evaluations
- Ability to catheterize patients and provide health coaching
- Knowledge of toddler care best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
