Job Title: RN House Supervisor

Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours (5:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
Location: Columbus, NE

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide leadership and coordination of hospital operations during the night shift. This temporary position will be available from March 24, 2025, to June 21, 2025. The RN House Supervisor will manage patient care activities, ensure the safety of patients and staff, and handle any operational issues that arise during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of the hospital during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for medical, nursing, and administrative staff for all issues and concerns.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth communication and coordination across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage staffing levels and coordinate resources for the shift to ensure optimal care delivery.
  • Conduct patient assessments and intervene in crisis situations as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Nebraska.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications through AHA (American Heart Association).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a House Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and patients as necessary.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
Compensation: $68 per hour
Compensation: $68.00 per hour
